Chicago Internet
Chicago Internet was a web design firm that specialized in catering to the staffing, recruiting, and executive search industry. It moved from its original location in the Uptown neighborhood and now operates as Biersma Creative.
I was hired as the company's sole copywriter, but soon became involved in all aspects of web marketing as e-commerce really took off in the early 00's. In addition to developing content for websites, I began managing Google AdWords campaigns and SEO implementation, reporting site traffic through Webtrends, and consulting on general web marketing issues.
The company president also involved me with writing proposals to potential clients and developing information architecture plans. Other duties included writing staffing industry articles, doing design production work, and quality assurance testing of websites.
